Our friends at The Salvation Army have provided more than 3 million hot meals, 1 million food boxes, and 500,000 nights of shelter to individuals and families impacted by COVID-19.

In addition to the essential food and shelter service they’re providing to first responders, healthcare professionals, and our neighbors in need, they also provide a national emotional and spiritual support hotline to help address the rising levels of stress, fear, and uncertainty that many are experiencing.

“We know that the longer this crisis goes on, the more essential this service will become,” said Dale Bannon, national spokesperson for The Salvation Army USA. “With unemployment impacting millions, and no clear end date to the crisis, we want people to know they’re not alone. We’re here for you.”
