When I moved from Toronto to San Francisco — with a new marriage, a new country and a new role — I expected to feel overwhelmed. Instead, Grant Thornton surprised me with its level of support. I’ve called many places home.
I was born in Toronto, raised in Dhaka, returned to Toronto for university, and now living in San Francisco.
I’m a homebody.
But I love to explore. Day to day, I’m happiest curled up with Netflix, but when I have time off, I turn into a traveler — planning for Indonesia and New Zealand next.
I have a cultured TV palate.
Reality TV on Netflix is my guilty pleasure (“Love Is Blind” is my latest), but I balance it out with documentaries and shows like “The Crown” and “Paradise.” I also love sitcoms, and “Friends” will always be my favorite.
I bring my own self to work...
by embracing both sides of who I am — an introvert at heart who thrives in connection. I see that balance as a strength, and I want others to know there’s more than one way to lead authentically.
