In our comment letter submitted in response to the AICPA Board of Examiners’ proposal, Maintaining the Relevance of the Uniform CPA Examination – Aligning the Exam with the CPA Evolution Licensure Model, the firm supports the direction of the proposed changes, but would like to see additional messaging regarding
- How the new discipline section will translate into the profession; and
- Whether and how employers should consider the new format when making hiring decisions or mentoring graduates who are eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
