He has over twenty years of experience in the forensic and audit disciplines of accounting and has served clients, including Fortune Global 500 companies, internationally.
Jimmy has conducted corporate internal investigations on issues relating to the integrity of financial statements, corruption, and misappropriation of assets. His work in this area is often in response to regulatory inquiry. He also advises clients on anti-fraud and anti-corruption compliance programs.
In addition, he has consulted as an accounting/audit/damages expert on disputes adjudicated in federal courts, state courts and international venues. He has testified as an accounting expert on behalf of regulatory agencies such as the US Securities and Exchange Commission, has been engaged as a consulting expert by defendants in criminal securities fraud litigation initiated by the US Department of Justice, and has advised plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes involving damages and valuation issues.
Jimmy frequently speaks on compliance and regulatory matters at international conferences. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Governing Council twice elected Jimmy to three-year terms on the Joint Trial Board, the Institute's adjudicatory/disciplinary body. In addition, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners has appointed him to its Advisory Council. Jimmy also serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Legal Foundation, a non-profit public interest law firm.
