Luke G. Ratke

Luke Ratke is Grant Thornton’s market managing principal in Pittsburgh. He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 18 years of public accounting experience. Ratke originally worked at Grant Thornton from 2003 through 2010 and rejoined the firm in 2015 to lead its Audit & Assurance service line in the Pittsburgh market. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Ratke was a senior manager in Assurance Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ratke has vast experience collaborating with audit engagement teams to plan, execute, and conclude on all aspects of both integrated and financial statement audits for SEC registrants and privately held entities. His expertise spans a diverse array of industries, including manufacturing, energy, technology, healthcare and hospitality.

Community involvement

Ratke has served as a volunteer, board member and committee member for many nonprofits in Pittsburgh, including the Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania and United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ratke graduated from the Leadership Pittsburgh program, designed to empower established senior leaders to drive meaningful change in the region.

Education

Ratke earned two bachelor’s degrees from Notre Dame, one for business administration in accounting and another for computer applications. He also earned a master’s degree in accounting from the same institution.
