Lorie White

Lorie is a partner in the Philadelphia office and is the national real estate leader in tax for Grant Thornton. She has over 25 years of experience in the tax area and has served both publicly traded, non-traded and privately owned companies. Lorie has been actively serving clients in the Real Estate and Financial Services industry throughout her time at Grant Thornton. This industry experience includes both equity and mortgage REITs, private equity, asset managers and investment companies. She has provided value added tax consulting by providing strategic tax planning to various clients both in the partnership and REIT area. Lorie is also one of the firm’s subject matter experts in Real Estate Investment Trusts and has assisted clients with REIT compliance matters including Asset and Income Tests, taxable REIT subsidiary utilization, tax provision computations, appropriate fee structuring in addition to acquisitions and mergers.
