Becoming Unstoppable

Warrior Reunion Foundation

A community on a mission to reconnect

When Warrior Reunion Foundation became a Purple Paladin in 2021, they were already dedicated to understanding and serving the veteran community. Founder James Ferguson, a combat veteran himself, recognized how lifechanging it can be for military units to reunite. But with only one staff member and limited resources, his organization sought support needed to reconnect more veterans.

In their own words, Warrior Reunion Foundation leaders share how becoming a Purple Paladin jumpstarted their journey to becoming unstoppable.

“I’m James Ferguson. And I’m becoming unstoppable.”

Becoming a Purple Paladin has opened new doors for us to serve our community and our mission. Grant Thornton’s support goes beyond funding; it’s about joining a community that fosters long-term growth. My team and I are proud to share how much we’ve grown in just a few years — from expanding our reunions, to partnering with like-minded organizations and furthering our reach to more veterans, Gold Star families and volunteers.

A community on a mission

From day one, Grant Thornton exceeded our expectations. Beyond our initial partnership, their involvement in support calls, strategic planning meetings and volunteer and fundraising events has made a huge difference across our organization. Several team members even joined a hike at one of our reunion events at Camp Pendleton, showing genuine care for our cause and community. Their dedication not only impacts our veterans and families but also inspires others to join our mission.
